Indian navy seizes pirates' Indian Ocean mothership
Saturday night the Indian navy received word that a Greek ship had been attacked by pirates. The next morning they were found by the navy who followed the two high speed boats to a hijacked Thai fishing trawler, the Prantalay 11. The pirates had been using the fishing trawler as a launching point for many of their raids. After several shots were fired the pirates were captured as well as the original crew of the trawler. The pirates are being sent to Mumbai where they will be handed to authorities. This is the second successful capture of pirates this month by the Indian authorities.
