ISIS claims responsibility for Texas shooting but offers no proof

Adam Winters

On Sunday, two men opened fired outside the Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon contest in Garland, Texas.  On Tuesday, on ISIS's official radio broadcast, the terrorist group took the credit for the shooting outside the exhibit.  They also made known that these will not be the only attacks to come but many more are in the future.  Debates over if the men were actually part of the group or if they were trying to show their dedication and hope ISIS would recognize them are currently happening.  ISIS has not shown any evidence proving that the two men were officially part of the group.  If the two men were in sorts "trying out" for ISIS, this shows a pattern of ISIS recruitment that encourage sympathizers via social media to join the fight, or if they cannot, take it to their own soil.
