The war over the Nagorno-Karabahk war has continued even after many peace talks, even some including the United States. President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, says he and his country are prepared to exhaust means necessary to take back this region from the Armenians. Some fascinating things about this situation include the fact that Azerbaijan is friendly with, and influenced by Turkey. Additionally, Russia has an alliance with Armenia. Russia has said they will offer all necessary assistance to Armenia if the President of Azerbaijan stays true to his word. This could be an event that continues to escalate more and more as times goes on. It is something to look out for in terms of international conflict.
