How U.S. Gun Culture Stacks with the World

The article talks about how America's relationship with gun ownership is extremely different from the rest of the world, and how the U.S. gun culture as a whole is an outlier. The article shares some significant and scary facts such as: The U.S. is the only country where guns outnumber people (120 guns/ 100 people). The article talks about how the exact number of civilian owned fire guns is hard to find due to the fact that there is a number of them that aren't registered and bought under illegal trade. The most accurate estimate researchers have found is that Americans own 46% of the worlds gun cache. What's very important to note is that the U.S. also has the highest firearm homicide rate in the world, and no other country has the amount of mass shootings at the same frequency of the U.S.
