Obama's Plan of Action

The fighting that has been going on in Gaza has not only caught President Bush’s attention but President-Elect Barack Obama’s attention as well. Obama’s has rejected the notion of others who are saying he is keeping quiet about the fighting in Gaza. He plans to put a well thought out peace process into action on his first day in office on January 20th and is currently working with a team of individuals to construct this. Obama goes into further discussion about the Middle East when discussing Iran’s Nuclear weapons program. The president- elect still plans to meet with the Middle Eastern powers early on in office in order to show not only respect to the Iranian people but to show the proper behavior of an international actor. In order to further his point of being a proper international actor, Obama also plans to shut down Guantanamo Bay sometime during his presidency although he has not specified when this will occur.
