Egyptian Elections

Egyptian voters are partaking in the last round of voting today. This is a historic day for the country and serves as good example that democracy can come rather quickly for a country that is determined to have a voting process installed. The last round of voting takes place in the rather rural southern portion of the country which is home to the largest segment of christian voters in the country. Islamic parties already claimed a victory by a large margin in the elections held in the country's northern regions. I believe that it is a great that citizens that are tired of having no say in a country's decision making process finally have a say in the way in which their county is being run but hopefully government corruption does not ruin the process. I hope that the ousting of Mubarak results in many great strides for the citizens of Egypt.
