UThis past weekend a helicopter from the USS Kidd spotted an Iranian fishing ship under distress. They helped rescue and ensure the safety of Iranian citizens. Iran calls this a humanitarian act. How does this contribute to the current frustration between both governments? Will this lead to the door opening up on agreements between each nation, or no? I found it interesting that while both nations are very sensitive to each other’s actions can one that brings them together reset the way in which they think of each other?
