Israeli Veterans Say Permissive Rules of Engagement Fueled Gaza Carnage

The war between the Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Many of Gaza’s neighborhoods were destroyed. This is extremely devastating since Gaza is densely populated with 1.8 million people. The Israelis would shoot at random houses and other innocent civilians for no reason. The Israelis defense for their actions in war was that they were told to see everything as a threat, even those that did not have weapons. The Israelis also state that the Palestinians set rockets to many Israeli cities. The Israelis feel that there is not a possible way to have war without a lot of damage. They do not feel as though they committed war crimes. However, 70% of the 2,100 Palestinian deaths were civilians. This 70% included 500 children. There is also evidence to the Israelis firing at random places simply because they were bored, and D9’s destroyed plenty of land.
