Guinea junta leader not stepping out of 2010 elections just yet
The international concern for Guinea is growing: some fear that civil war will break out among the military and the opposition like in the massacre in late September. Most recently, the junta leader Comara did not issue his written pledge to the African Union (AU) to not run in the elections. Instead, Comara wants to leave it up to international mediation.
