General McChrystal, the commanding general in Afganistan has been under the spotlight since his 66 page assesment on the afgan war was leaked. Some critics have accused him of giving the White House an ultimatum. Either increase troop levels or else. However this isn't true, McChrystal is a true patriot loyal to his country. In London he was quoted saying he is only presenting his best assesment of the situation and that the final decision is the politicians. He also stated it made him proud to serve the people and politicians. McChrystal has suggested an increase in troop levels up to 40,000 boots on the ground. McChrystal beleives sooner is better if we hope to actually win this war.
