Abandoned children in Haiti

THis article told of of how there has been a surge of abandoned children at orphanages in Haiti. Parents of the children are in hopes that workers will be able to give their childrend at least one meal a day, which is more than they can provide. Before the quake, parents could barely provide, now it is impossible. Children are left in waiting rooms and on front steps of hospitals, and the orphanages are forced to take the children in. The article speaks to many people getting first hand accounts. One woman is giving h er child away so that she may have a better place because she can not. It's very sad.
