After a six-week election campaigning window (as opposed to the United States which pretty much starts early in the year before the election) voters in England will be going to the polls on Thursday for elections to determine which party controls Parliament and then will put forward a prime minister. It's likely none of the parties (Labour, Conservative, Liberal Democrats) will achieve an outright majority so a coalition will need to be formed, more than likely between the Conservatives and Lib Dems as the polls show right now.
