In the last 24 hours, 24 people have died in multiple locations in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico due to waring between drug cartels. The killings occurred across 4 different locations including the ever violent Ciudad Juarez, shockingly--or not so shockingly, in public places. Carlos Gonzalez, a spokesman for the Chihuahua state attorney general has not offered any insight to the overnight escalation in "waring" between drug cartels Sinalao and a rival Juarez cartel.
This report comes on the weekend marking an already bloody week in Ciudad Juarez, where 25 people have been killed between Tuesday and Wednesday. Mexican news organizations reported Sinaloa Cartel had defeated the rival Juarez organization but Gonzalez said, "There is no winner to this war."
