The People's Republic of China will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of the mark of the Communist party coming into power. Hu Jintao as well as the previous president, Jiang Zemin, addressed the country, congratulating everyone on China's progress into the 21st century. The celebration included a giant fireworks show, using as many fireworks as they did for the Olympic Ceremony, and a huge military parade. Although during the event there will be securities set up for protection, such as snipers placed on buildings and armed police at major roads. Around 30,000 people will be at the event, and all other are encouraged to watch it on the tv.
