Thai policemen are now being targeted in continuation of the two month long conflict in which protesters have rejected the government's plan to dissolve parliament in September. The red-shirt's and yellow-shirt's are both critical of the governments projected plans. Yellow shirts also argue that the prime minister should resign if he cannot enforce laws against the red shirts and their protesting. The government has issued a later election date pushed back until November, which has not yet satisfied red shirt protesters. The Prime Minister made the following statement in regards to the recent attacks on policemen, "We have to seek co-operation from everybody to return Thailand to peace."
