Polls: Swedish government poised for re-election

Sweeden will hold an election this Sunday and barring any major upsets from far right Islamic bashing groups the 45 year old Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt should retain his post as the highest seat in Sweeden. Immigration is emerging as a major topic of conflict in the country as Iraq is the 2nd largest group of immigrants into the nation. Sweedish Democratic candidate is pushing this issue as conservative Sweedish delegates are pushing that the global economy, unemployment, and the enviornment are the more important issues. Despite the poor global markets Sweeden has maintained a low budget deficite through tax cuts and tightening unemployment and sickness compensation. The nation's economy is expected to grow by 4% this year under Reinfeldt. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100918/ap_on_re_eu/eu_sweden_election
