The investment conference was held in Haiti. Haiti has been famous for poor and dangerous country. Haiti was still suffering from the poverty: more than half of them are very poor and unemployment rate, which is 70% in there. Because of the shortness of the job, they tend to make violent behaviour, and as a result of that, this country remains unsafe and they cannot find job. In addition to that, the economic sanctions carried out by the U.S. and other countries in 1990s fueled this situation worse. Whether this country is safe to visit is still in a doubt, however the conference seemed successful. Even though they did not make any deal this time, finally investors like Gap,Citibank were ready to talk about potential project in the country.
