Hezbollah in Mexico Stoking Terrorism Fears

Fears emerge as evidence of Hezbollah activity rise in Mexico.Over the last year, The Department of Homeland Security has been increasing investigations of Hezbollah activity across the Mexican border. The rate of Hezbollah affiliated gang incidents has been rising steadily across the last year, especially in the field of drug trafficking and border smuggling. Unlike Al Queda, Hezbollah is uninterested in performing violent terrorist attacks against the United States, and is more interested in getting a firm foothold in North America. This is dangerous because the Mexican police force has been distracted by the drug wars and do not have enough officers to combat this threat. Though Hezbollah seems to have the intention to lay low for now, it is unknown how much of threat it may pose in the future.
