The U.S. government has been trying to find a solution to there spending problem. For people who don't know, the Treasury Secretary stated that America will run out of money on October 18th if the government stayed on their current spending plan. The senate just recently passed a bill to extend the government funding temporarily, until the treasury can figure out how to lower government spending without taking large funds from a single program. this temporary solution will avoid a government shutdown for now. I believe the best permanent solution is to dip into military spending because the amount of money needed would be the least percentage of a cut from the military budget compared to other areas. I think they could also take a small percentage from every area of government spending to cover their financial issues.
