Britian Has witnessed it's largest general strike over equal pay with over 8,000 female workers walking out. This has been building as trade unions in Glasgow have had years of legal disputes over equal pay. Many trade unions are suppoting this strike to protest the lack of progress made on the issue of equal pay.
