Brazil's far-right candidate, Jair Bolsonaro won the Brazilian presidential election. He had 10% (55%) more votes then his left-wing candidate from the Workers Party, Fernando Haddad. Some of Bolsanaro's opponents fear that he will undo Brazil's democracy. However, Bolosonaro has stated that he will defend "the constitution, democracy, and freedom". Bolosonaro's main idea during his presidential campaign is to reduce the crime rate and get rid of the political corruption in Brazil. He will be swore in January 1, 2019.
