Man who halted Nazi nuclear plan dies at 99

the man who was involved in stopping the Nazis plan to create the atomic bomb has died at age 99.
I am surprised that he only broke his silence about the mission that halted the project only in the 70's. also  he talked about of he only realized how important the mission was after the U.S used there atomic bombs on japan, this shows how nobody real understood hoe critical this mission was until years later.
