This article discusses the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi and the response Trump has given. Marco Rubio comments on the situation by saying "There isn't enough money in the world to purchase back our credibility on human rights and the way nations should conduct themselves". Which I think is a fair point to make because he also explains how we give other countries severe punishments for violating human rights but are not doing so to Saudi Arabia because of an arms deal. Does this weaken are credibility on human rights? If so what does that mean for our Government as well as the current administration?
