BBC poll shows narrow support for Palestinian state

Recognition of a Palestinian state may draw nearer than expected. BBC Polls show that out of the 19 countries surveyed on the topic 49% backed the creation of a Palestinian state.

Many of the supporters were Islamic countries including Turkey, Pakistan as well as immense Chinese endorsement. There is a conflict of interest even within the US as 45% of Americans lined with Palestine. European countries such as United Kingdom, German, and France have also let their voices be heard in favor of the Palestinians. France had 54% pro-creation while Germany and UK had 53% supporters. The country with the lowest number polled surprisingly was India with 32% for the creation and 25% against while Egypt was the highest with 90% for it and 9% opposed.

Putting things in perspective, it is clear that the majority of the world backs up the Palestinians in respect to giving them recognition. Where will this proposal go? The world awaits.
