Pakistani Taliban creates yet another threat

Once more, the dangers that presents itself through the Taliban makes itself known to the world.

On Thursday, September 15th, 2011, a suicide bomber interrupted a funeral procession of an anti-Taliban militia. The attack killed forty people and injured roughly seventy others, as reported by Saleem Murrawat, police chief of the lower province district in Islamabad, Pakistan. The suicide bomber was deployed by none other than the Pakistani Taliban, sending a warning to everyone in Pakistan for those who support the government and the United States.

"Anyone who supports the U.S. and Pakistani military will face the same fate," said Siraj-ud Din, a spokesman of the Taliban. "We will target funeral processions and wedding ceremonies for those who support the U.S."

As of today, White House officials have yet to comment.
