Greek crisis: Cabinet meets to discuss debt measures

According to BBC News, Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou has cancelled a trip to the US as fears over the country's debt crisis mount. Greece has decided to cancel a trip the United States because of the debt crisis is becoming more and more crucial. Papandreou's office said he had decided to return as "next week is particularly crucial" in efforts to secure the country's next bailout loan. He was planning on attending UN meetings, but euro zone ministers delayed a decision on releasing more money to Greece. Now Greece will have to wait until October to find out whether or not 8bn euros will be released to them. Greece has been told that if they do not stick to planned cuts in borrowing, they most definitely will not receive the financial help that is needed to help with the debt crisis because Greece is running out of money to make pay offs. Certain lenders to the country are having a more difficult time allowing more money to be given to them. Eurogroup lender has said that they are willing to give Greece more money because they seem to be making significant progress, where Germany has said they don't see how Greece will be able to pay off the loans.
