Greek Socialists Agree in Principle to a "Unity" Government
This Sunday the Socialist Party in Greece agreed in principle to a "Unity" government with the Conservative Party. This would only be a temporary government that would try to expedite decisions to help Greece remain on the Euro. The EU wants Greece to come to an agreement on the proposed bailout deal for the country. This comes after increased pressure on the government of Greece to react quicker the EU's requested bailout plan. In my opinion the formation of a temporary government may expedite decisions. However, this seems to risk more political turmoil in the future for the government of Greece.
