Syria Accused of Kidnapping 4 in Lebanon

Since the uprising which began nearly 8 months ago, the Lebanon Police have accused Syria of taking part in the kidnapping of people in Lebanon who are disagreeing with the revolt. They are also quoting Syrian officials saying that they are outlining the borders with landmines in an attempt to minimize the smuggling of weapons to fuel this revolt. However, there is also a question of if these landmines have more than one job. Some say that they are also being put there to try to keep dissidents from getting into Lebanon. They are saying that these kidnappings are Syria's way of preventing people from using Lebanon as a staging ground for plotting against the Syrian government. There has been no official action taken when dealing with these kidnappings.
