"Somali Pirates Overwhelmed by Taiwan Fishing Boat Crew "

According to the BBC news website, a group of Somali pirates have been defeated by a crew of Taiwanese fishermen. The Chin Yi Wen crew of 28 members was sailing off the East African coast when they were attacked by six Somali pirates. The fishermen lost radio contact just off of the Somali coast which is when the pirates commandeered the boats and held the fishermen captive by gunpoint. Despite being held by gunpoint, the crew was able to fight back and overthrow the pirates. The fishermen were eventually able to receive assistance from the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations, and international anti-piracy task force, who patrols the area for pirate activity. According to Taiwan's Fisheries Agency, three sailors were injured, while the pirates fell into the sea.
