China warns Japan over expanding military role abroad

The new security laws that make a role of Japanese military expanded were passed on 19th. Due to the laws, Japanese military can fight abroad when Japan or Japan’s close ally is attacked, and it causes a danger to Japan. For instance, Japan can shoot down North Korean missile headed to the US. Moreover, Japan can send its military to foreign country to rescue Japanese hostage. To the approval of the bills, China is warning and claims that Japan are going to repeat the same mistake just like over 70 years ago. Likewise, Korea that also has a tense relationship with Japan criticizes the laws. While, the US and UK both have supported the bills because they think that the expanding of the Japanese military’s role could contribute international peace.
As arguments about the bills put forward so many times at National diet, Japanese Prime minister often insisted that the bills don’t infringe article 9 of constitution that never allows Japan to renounce war and the threat or use of force, so we should focus on a way how Japanese government understands the constitution, which is really ambiguous.
