Migrant crisis: Austria sees fresh influx

The constant flow of migrants escaping war has not been easy for neighboring countries such as Croatia, Hungary and Austria. Croatia has been dealing with 20,000 migrants as of Wednesday, September 16, 2015. Subsequently, Croatia has been passing these immigrants along to Hungary, who then sends them to Austria. Hungary has accused Croatia of breaking an international law by failing to register migrants as they are sent to Hungary. Now, a number of migratory individuals, who reached Austria from Hungary, informed an international news program that Hungary, also, had broken this rule by failing to register these individual prior to migrating them to Austria. In conclusion to reading this news article, I could not help but draw the comparison between the treatment of these migrants to a heard of cattle being dragged place to place against their will, and not knowing where, or when, the next stop will be. These people are not cattle and should not be treated as if they were. The Hungarian minister shared negative comments about Croatia’s minister in regards to the negligent acts of registration of immigrants to Hungary. Because of this, conflict between neighboring countries may arise and affect the migrants in a negative way.
