E.U. Nations Pull Welcome Mats for Migrants

This article explains the difficulty that the European Union is having with all the fleeing Syrian refugees. I find that this situation is very tough to handle because there are moral issues attached to it along with logistical issues that go along with it. It is so hard for these tiny European nations to handle the massive amounts of people that are crossing their borders. Many of them coming in huge numbers all at once. There are about 800,000 people petitioning for asylum and the E.U. is most likely only going to grant about 40,000 of those.

There once was open arms to let all the refugees in but since they are all coming in insane amounts, it is hard to house and pay for all this. The refugees are getting angry because they were promised safety and now they are all getting denied to get across the borders, mainly to reach Germany. I think that this is a very difficult dilemma that has to be faced. When do you cut off the people? Safety is essential for these refugees going trying to flee a civil war in their country, but being able to have all the people in one place or in mass quantities is very hard on a country. Being packed in like sardines is never a good feeling and when someone's home country becomes that way it is easy for people to become annoyed very quickly. It is also interesting that the countries are taking back an offer to keep people safe because they were counting on it and now when they get to the border they are getting denied almost instantly.
