Voters describe confusion at polls in landmark Sudanese election

http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/africa/04/11/sudan.elections/index.html

In the first multi-party election in 24 years, Sudanese voters experienced confusion. Voting forms were complicated and bias. The ballots should have had pictures of the candidates to help illiterate voters. However, the election was a milestone for the country. Salva Kiir, the president of the region of Juba voted for the first time in his life. This election is widely seen as a turning point for Sudan, however, if the election does not go well then it could mean a return to conflict. The United States is concerned with the political rights of the Sudanese.
