North Korea Outlines Accusations

North Korea publicly specified the "hostile acts" that landed Kenneth Bae, a Korean-American, a 15 year sentence in a labor camp.  According to the DPRK, Bae set up anti-North Korean bases in China and was distributing anti-regime literature.  They claim that he was smearing the governments name, and inciting rebellion by the people and hostility on the international scale.  Bae was not given an attorney, in accordance with North Korean law, because he refused to make a plea.  His case was easily swept aside due to the escalated tensions between the USA and the DPRK.  As tensions and frictions are subsiding, it is possible that officials may be able to take more action to liberate Bae.
