Turkey: Two Car Bombs, 15 Minutes Apart, Less Than a Mile Apart

Near the Syrian, Turkey boarder on Saturday, two car bombs went off only fifteen minutes apart and less than a mile away from each other. The total killed in the bombings is around 40, while the total injured is estimated to be over 100. The Turkish government has claimed that the suspects who carried out these bombings are associated with the Syrian president's (President al-Assad) intelligence service organization, even though the cars used had Turkish license plates. If this is the case, the Turkish government has said that “No crime will be left without a response.”
There has been everlasting fear that the was in Syria would begin to leak over the boarder into Turkey, with the area of the bombings containing about 25,000 Syrian refugees to the 90,000 Turkey residents along with being so close to the boarder. Turkish residents have not been slow to react and have already begun to retaliate by smashing Syrian windows of cars.
