A group of separatists from the Xinjiang region are being blamed by the Chinese government for a recent attack at a train station in the city of Kunming (in the south-west of China). At least 29 people were killed and over 100 injured in the attack as a group of people dressed in black stabbed at random. After police arrived, four suspects were killed with one arrested and now being treated injuries. The government is claims to have found evidence at the scene linking the attackers to the Xinjiang region. The minority population of Uighur Muslims in the Xinjiang region have been seeking autonomy.
