One of Brazil's top football club's Fluminense is trying to separate itself from some of its fans that are comparing the members to that of the Taliban. The club has been called the warriors in the past and a campaign has gone out to raise this image by fans. These fans have edited images of the club members with scarves around their faces like members of the Taliban with the team colors. Fans have also come to games with controversial images making the club come out with statements that oppose this campaign saying that it supports terrorism. With the World Cup set to be hosted in Brazil the club as well as others are worried that these images my hurt Brazil's international image.
