Feminist Activists Still Detained in China

Five feminists still remain in police custody over in China. This led up to International Women's Day, which is today, 3/08/15. They wanted to observe today's special day by putting up leaflets about sexual harassment in Beijing and two other cities. The police have not responded to said questions about this detain. It has been said that activists have observed this day before without any harm or problem. Although this article is fairly new, it still raises some alarming questions. Were the activists putting up actual danger or were they trying to raise awareness for the common good?
