On October 31, a suicide bomber was successful in detonating a bomb within the diplomatic area of Kabul Afghanistan, killing seven people. This has been the latest in attacks in Afghan since the Trump administration has made claims of deploying more troops to the area. While ISIS has taken credit to the blast, their is no evidence at this time of their involvement, yet it is one of their signature style attacks. More than 250 people have been killed in the past several weeks do to attacks including mosques. This resent attack puts questions on the Afghan government and the U.S. military on how well are they stopping the Islamic state and the Taliban in the country.
