China: Booing national anthem a criminal offense

We've seen that sitting down during our national anthem has caused tension within our country. In China, their government is going after anyone who disrespects their anthem.  Any person who "disrespects" their anthem can now face up to three years in jail. This law is being extended into Hong Kong and Macau, which have had a series of disrespectful acts against their anthem. Hong Kong is implementing this law towards their civilians after their football fans decided to boo at their anthem and turned their backs when it was playing. Many are calling this action as unfair since it is against the Chineses' free speech.
