Tensions between Australia and Papua New Guinea are on the rise, because of the mistreatment of migrants from the the Middle East and South East Asia. However, Australia is paying the Papua New Guinean government to with hold these men to prevent human trafficking. I do not think Papua New Guinea is fond of having these access amount of people so they have begun to shut down these "asylum" facilities. Countries like the United States and New Zealand have stepped in and has agreed to accept some refugees. Even though that is very good news; Australia is very uncomfortable with New Zealand accepting refugees, because it offer these refugees the chance to once again travel into Australia.
