Fate of IS Fighter's

The Islamic State has suffered vast territory losses as of October 2017. The BBC reports that due to the coalition involving Europe, Iraq, Syria, The US, and Russia have seen the terrorist group from a rising threat to a weakened entity that will fade into memory. Yet there is still a question of what is to happen to the IS fighters that were from foreign countries, such as across Europe and even America. IS (ISIS) had drawn around 30,000 foreign fighters from the world to fight for their cause, the Red Cross is urging that they are put through the justice system and tried for crimes, yet politicians either do not want them returned to their countries or even left alive. There is an existing rhetoric that dehumanizes ISIS and it's fighters. This becomes more apparent given their actions of beheading, burning prisoners alive, enslaving women and other atrocities. Yet there is a point when justice becomes vengeance, justice must prevail if the civilized world is to maintain order and not degenerate into an image of IS.
