Talks of a three party coalition in German parliament have collapsed as the FDP pulled out. Merkel may as a result have to either form a minority coalition or hold snap elections. The second largest party, the Social Democrats, in the parliament have ruled out the possibility of them rejoining a coalition government with Merkel.
