For weeks, the US insisted that the airstrike on August 29 in Kabul, Afghanistan killed at least one ISIS-K member, but has now released that it was a big mistake. The man thought to have been a facilitator in ISIS-K was an engineer at Nutrition and Education International. His brother, Emal Ahmadi spoke with CNN on the loss of his daughter, brother, nieces, and nephews. Although it is difficult for the US to reach people on the ground in Afghanistan, the Pentagon would like to provide monetary reparations to the family for this tragic mistake. CNN asked Ahmadi and is brother, whose three children died, what they'd want from the US, to which they said simply, "justice." The brothers would like for the drone operators to be tried in court for the murders of their children and other family members.
