Having launched Friday afternoon, a spacecraft has arrived to the International Space Station, containing a former NASA astronaut and three paying customers. Axiom Space is a new company that is Texas-based, looking to provide space excursions and travel for those who are willing to pay the price for it. Axiom released information as well as a price tag of $55 million dollars per seat in order to make the 10-day trip to space. This is truly a one of a kind experience, and is changing the traditional view of what it is to be an astronaut. A new development to the space community indeed, and it will be interesting to see how Axiom develops as its relationship with both NASA and SpaceX becomes closer.
