Poland and Ukrainian Refugee Crisis

As Ukrainians continue to flee the current warzone within their home country, Poland is the currently leading country for accepting refugees. They've taken in about 2.6 million Ukrainians, which is a little half of the total refugees reported by the UN. While concerns have been raised about how the healthcare and economy of Poland will be impacted from this influx of immigrants, the leaders and citizens continue to welcome refugees with open arms. The article talks about how astonishing it is to see a country, ruled mainly by right-wing leaders who openly opposed immigration, open up to what they call "our guests, our brothers, our neighbors" rather than refugees.
