For the past 2 years in particular, Xi Jinping and his partners have seen the growth of China's technology hubs as threats to security and the administrations power. This week, Xi Jinping talked about a plan to crackdown on technology. They will speed up the creation of new laws and regulations on the countries homegrown boom of AI and data companies. This will greatly impact the countries economy.
