With the war continuing in Ukraine and there being no end in sight Ukraine has looked to take a different approach to end the war. Ukraine has decided to apply to become a member of the European Union. This is a huge occurrence due to the start of the war being because Russia wanted to bring Ukraine back to being a Russian ruled state. Everything on the Ukrainian side of the application is done. Now the ball is in the court of the EU. This decision will have a huge effect on the future of the Russia and Ukraine war.
