"Sauer: Biden Veers to Jimmy Carter’s Economic Left. So Do Many Republicans". Madison Vermleand

Biden recently said that or described himself as a capitalist. While there was celebrations of big government and proposals for new government programs. He introduced the ideas of new price controls on prescription drugs. A lot of health care providers discredited this. Drug price controls wont just magically reduce the capital necessary for the development, they could possibly reduce the supply of life savings or sustaining medicines.

He also introduced the idea of "Buy American". Which means fighting inflation. The author of this article is stating that Biden does not understand how excessive government harms consumers, workers and businesses may be a result of his spending. If he would have done things differently before his time as president then he would have a better sense of the limits of government (as said from the author).

As I was reading this article it was basically just comparing President Biden to President Jimmy Carter. And then the rest of this article is just comparing what each of these men said and how they are similar.
