Mexican travelers to China have been quarantined and placed into local hospitals because of the current flu scare. These Mexicans were being rounded up as they came off of air planes in China, isolated, and sent to hospitals. There they would be checked to make sure they were not carrying the virus. I think this is an extreme situation and way to go about preventing the spread of the virus, but this may also be the most efficient way to do it. As bad as the situation seems, this may prevent the spreading of the disease. China is only looking out for its own sake and well-being. Until this recent pandemic can be brought under control, I think countries will have to resort to drastic measures to protect itself.
